Precision Ag Technician
Heartland Ag, Inc is currently seeking two (2) experienced individuals to join our growing precision ag department. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting and repair of several brands of precision ag products such as rate controllers, auto-steer, boom height controls, auto boom shut offs, GPS guidance and mapping and mapping systems. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Positive proffessional attitude
- Motivated to suceed
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work alone or in team enviroment
- Ability to multi task
- Have valid drivers license with good driving record
- Must live near Ames, IA or Marshall, MO
- Some overnight travel required
Experience required
- Bachelors or Associate degree in agriculture preferred
- At least one year experience working with precision ag products such as Raven, Ag Leader, Trimble or Mid-Tech/ TeeJet.
- Must have agricultural backgrond
- Experience working with ag electronics and hydraulics and be able to read schematics
Shop Service Technician
Heartland Ag, Inc. is currently seeking two (2) experienced individuals to join our growing service department. Responsibilities include installation and troubleshooting, hydraulic, chassis and powertrain on several types of application equipment including self propelled post sprayers, liquid and dry floaters and anhydrous toolbars. There will be some exposure to precision equipment as well such as installation and trouble shooting. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Positive proffessional attitude
- Motivated to suceed
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work alone or in team enviroment
- Ability to multi task
- Have valid drivers license with good driving record
- Must live near Ames, IA
Experience Required
- Mechanical training, preferably Associate Degree
- At least one year experience working with hydraulics and power train components
- Must have own tools
- Preferable an ag background
- Ability to read and understan schematics
